Vintage Design
Wonderful coffee table by Grete Jalk around 1960 for Glostrup.
Fantastic Danish design, incredibly well made from teak (solid wood) in a dark honey tone.
The shape is slightly conical towards the long ends, the sides are wonderfully curved upwards.

Grete Jalk gained international fame with her simple and timeless designs.

Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use, Very nice vintage condition. There are numerous rings of cup marks, one might want to re-finish the table top. The surface was nevertheless cleaned and freshly oiled.
