Vintage Design
Lovely painted coffee or side table. Originally chrome plated, repainted frame, lovely crackeling and patina on a desk. Thoroughly cleaned, only bottom sanded, desk glued around the perimeter, color on frame and desk left, conserved with hard wax oil. My guess is at least 60 years old secondary paint on legs and perhaps original paint on a desk. Light and handy will do well in industrial themed design or for fans of bauhaus furniture. Height 70 cm, desk square 55 cm. Producer either Thonet, Mucke Melder, Hynek Gottwald or Slezakovy Zavody under license in former Czechoslovakia during 30 or 40s.
