Vintage Design
Italian sofa model “D70” designed by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno in 1954. Metal frame structure with polyurethane foam padding, covered in blue-green velvet fabric from the prestigious Italian weaving company Rubelli di Venezia. The seat and backrest can be completely adjusted using the two respective knobs which make any inclination of the backrest relative to the seat possible until it becomes a bed.
The D70 was presented as a “patented sofa bed” for the first time in the Single Furniture Exhibition at the X Triennale in 1954
