Italian modern red sofa Bocca by Studio 65 for Gufram, 1970s Bocca model sofa, in fact it is in the shape of giant lips, padded with cold expanded polyurethane with differentiated load-bearing capacity and covered in red elasticated fabric. Totally removable cover. The sofa has no feet, in fact it rests directly on the ground. Produced by Gufram in approx. 1970. and designed by Studio 65, with label present. Only one thousand Bocca model sofas were produced and this one is numbered 344 on the inside of the structure. The sofa was created as a tribute to Salvador Dalì, inspired by one of his very famous paintings from 1935, the face of Mae West, in which the lips of the woman portrayed depict a sofa. The Bocca sofa immediately became a cult object, a symbol of beauty and a jewel of Pop Art.
