Patriotic flair meets preppy formality in this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Hamadan rug. The angular botanical design and sophisticated color palette woven into this piece work together resulting in a warm and welcoming feel such as American traditional or even English Manor. Taking center stage is a concentric lobed medallion anchored with pendants at vase motifs at either end. An allover pattern composed of stylized florals, pinwheels, leafy botanical forms and rectilinear vines dispersed across the abrashed red field. Intrinsic beige spandrels radiate from each corner echoing designs from within the field. The beige geometric botanical border and navy blue carnation meander guard borders create a lush enclosure and a refreshing finish.
