Mid-Century Teak Dresser with Eight Drawers by Steens Factory, 1960s

Rare and elegant yet sizable Danish teak dresser with eight drawers, manufactured by Steen Furniture Factory in the 1960s, is a classic example of mid-century modern design. The original manufacturer label at the back validates its origin.
Typical of Steen’s style with discreet linear contoured fewer pulls provide minimalistic, geometric lines and timeless design. Ideal for bedroom or living room.
This size of dresser is quite rare, also known as a tallboy, and provides plenty of storage space in eight drawers. The top drawer is lockable with an original key included.
The marvelous and perfectly matched teak veneer on the front exposes its beautiful grain, while solid teak tapered legs emphasize its Scandinavian origin.
The drawers are clean and work smoothly. The piece is in excellent original condition with very minor traces of use, renewed with an additional layer of Danish oil.
