This pair of French cherubs were purchased in Belgium and hung in our 400 yr old Italian home. We hung them over the bed and draped cloth from one to the other. (Hanging devices had already been installed on the back of each making it terribly easy.) They charmed everyone who saw them! I felt like they were watching over me every night while I slept. I’m sure the next owner will feel equally blessed having them in their home. According to Antiques Road Show they are late 1700, early 1800.
